Description

Lactase Enzyme (ß-galactosidase) is a digestive enzyme that breaks down the lactose of milk and dairy products into harmless simple sugars, glucose and galactose. People with lactose intolerance lack this enzyme and are therefore unable to fully utilize the lactose. That can lead to unpleasant symptoms. The lactase enzyme improves lactose digestion in lactose intolerant people.

Lactase Enzyme is an ideal supplement for those who are lactose intolerant, but want to enjoy whey, casein, caseinates and milk proteins.

For the digestion of 10-13 grams of lactose (typical whey protein concentrates contain 5-6% lactose) 2,500 FCC units are required. For highly sensitive lactose intolerant consumers, 10,000 FCC units are required per meal, or 2 capsules.
