Vitamin C contributes to the proper functioning of the immune and nervous systems and helps to reduce fatigue and lethargy. Vitamin B2 contributes to the maintenance of vision and the maintenance of red blood cells. Of the important minerals, zinc contributes to fertility, reproduction and the maintenance of normal testosterone levels, as well as normal macronutrient metabolism. Selenium contributes to the maintenance of hair and nails along with the protection of cells against oxidative stress.
